Mr. Shivam Dixit

CEO & Co-founder

Driven by a passion for holistic wellness and social impact, Mr. Shivam Dixit transitioned from teaching to entrepreneurship. Leveraging his background in physical education and athletics, he spearheaded the "Har Ghar Counsellor" initiative, expanding access to psychology programs.

A sought-after speaker at prestigious institutions like JNU, ICC Summits, and Galgotias University, Mr. Dixit empowers students with career guidance workshops and shares insights on navigating dynamic business landscapes.

Our Story

Counsel India: Shaping Future Leaders Through Psychology

While on the surface, we provide Psychology learning programs to individuals, our deeper purpose is to create a social impact by improving the quality of people’s lives through psychology learning.

Mr. Bobby Thakur set the ground for Counsel India as a sole proprietorship in 2016 by giving free mental health awareness services in schools, Universities and Villages. This gave momentum to his goals and started a chain of training programs including Teacher Training Programs, Counselling Master Programs and so forth.

Mr. Bobby Thakur, our Founder & Executive Chairman, and Mr. Shivam Dixit, our Co-founder & CEO were quick to realize the limited access to Psychology and Counselling education in India

Bobby Thakur, our Founder & Executive Chairman, and Shivam Dixit, our Co-founder & CEO, crossed paths at a spiritual conference in 2016. Sharing a passion for holistic wellness and social impact, they joined forces. What began with free mental health awareness services at universities soon evolved into comprehensive training programs, including Teacher Training and Counseling Master Programs.

We believe in the philosophy that “GYAN” has the power to change your life for the better. This motto has been the driving force at Counsel India since the start.

The idea is simple:
When you learn about human behavior and psychology, you take back home a wiser you, clearly now that you are better aware of your emotions.

Despite hailing from a humble middle-class family, the founders had dreams of making a BIG impact.
They carried out operations from the basement of a small flat with only a handful of people. Their entrepreneurial journey saw many rejections and challenges, but their focus remained steady.

Despite the challenges, they achieved notable milestones, including our collaboration with Medhavi Skills University, which expanded our offerings to include higher degree, UGC, and NCVET approved programs. Today, with a team of over 350 passionate individuals, we serve a thriving community of 200,000 learners, equipping them with essential emotional intelligence skills.
